The Building Department is responsible for the processing and approval of various kinds of construction permits and the inspections associated with them. This is done in accordance with regulations from the New Jersey State Department of Community Affairs and Township ordinances. Issuance of a building permit is a multi-step process which begins with the submission of the application.
