Citizens Committee Membership

If you are one of our more than 380 members, the Committee trustees thank you for your support. If you are not yet a member, please consider joining us as a lighthouse citizen committee member. New members are welcomed and encouraged to volunteer.

Cost of Membership per Person:
$25 yearly or $200 perpetual

The benefits of becoming a member include: invitations to the annual meeting featuring a topical speaker, the annual summer party, and the holiday reception in December, the fellowship of other lighthouse enthusiasts, and the rewards of helping to preserve an historic building and its rich story for future generations.

The Sea Girt Lighthouse Citizens Committee is a tax-exempt foundation under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code, registered with the State of New Jersey.

All donations are tax deductible subject to standard IRS regulations.

Gifts, bequests, and charitable trusts are accepted and can be arranged by contacting Mr. Robert McKelvey, Committee Treasurer, at The George McKelvey Company, (732) 449-5323.

Matching corporate gifts are also accepted. The Sea Girt Lighthouse Citizens Committee qualifies for matching gifts. The Sea Girt Lighthouse is registered under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
