02 March 2010 - Sea Girt School Booster Club Pancake Supper
The Pancake Supper will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm
05 March 2010 - Sea Girt School Star Party
Sea Girt Elementary School will host a star party on March 5th from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (weather permitting). There will be a telescopes near the pavilion end of the boardwalk.
16 March 2010 - Sea Girt School Science Fair
Every spring, our Science teacher of students in grades 6, 7, and 8 leads the children through an inquiry based project. The children carry out extensive research and conduct experiments in order to “prove” a hypothesis. They then create visual displays and prepare a booth presentation.
As a culminating experience, the school designates a spring afternoon and open the gym for the purpose of the actual Fair. During the Fair, the volunteer judges visit these booths and interview students while employing a rubric to objectively score 4-6 projects.
17 April 2010 - The Jersey Shore Running Club
The Jersey Shore Running Club will have runners pass through the Borough on April 17, 2010 as part of their Jersey Shore Relay Events. two events - a Half Marathon starting in Asbury Park and going into Sea Girt and returning and the Relay Marathon starting in Seaside Heights and going into Asbury Park.
