Mission Statement

The primary function of the Sea Girt Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 is to provide the utmost in fire protection services, fire prevention education and other emergency services to its residents and neighbors. This Fire Company and its membership will answer all calls for service in a prompt and professional manner and the fire company will also assist its residents and its neighbors with any other type of emergency that may arise when called upon, regardless of time of day, or year and in any type of weather.

Special Announcement

The Sea Girt Fire Company is in the final phase of replacing and updating its pumpers. In 2004 we replaced a 25 year old pumper with a new Seagrave 8 man enclosed cab pumper. We have currently finalized bid specs and have ordered a 5 man enclosed cab KME pumper and expect delivery in late 2008. The addition of these state of the art pumpers to our 2000 Rescue 1 utility truck will meet the needs of the residents of Sea Girt and surrounding mutual aid responses for many years to come. A top priority of the Sea Girt Fire Company is staying current with the technology of firefighting and equipment and thanks to you throughout our capital campaign we have been able to do that.
