Sea Girt Fire Company No. 1

The Borough of Sea Girt's Volunteer Fire Company No. 1, Station 44-1, primary function is to provide the utmost in fire protection services, fire prevention education, and other emergency services to its residents and neighbors. The Fire Company and its members promptly and professionally answer all calls for service. When called upon, Fire Company No. 1 assists all residents and neighboring towns in all types of emergency situations regardless of the time of day, year, or weather conditions.

The Sea Girt Fire Company is in the final phase of replacing and updating its pumpers. In 2004 we replaced a 25 year old pumper with a new Seagrave eight-man enclosed cab pumper. We have currently finalized bid specs and have ordered a five-man enclosed cab KME pumper. The addition of these state of the art pumpers to our 2000 Rescue 1 utility truck will meet the needs of the residents of Sea Girt and surrounding mutual aid responses for many years to come.

A top priority of the Sea Girt Fire Company is staying current with the technology of firefighting equipment and thanks to all of our residents throughout our capital campaign we have been able to do that.
