Garbage Collection

Garbage containers must be ready for collection by 7:00 am.

All garbage must be bagged and placed within a container in an easily accessible location. Loose garbage inside a container will not be collected. Metal containers with bungee cords affixed across the top can help to deter animals.

2010 Sanitation & Recycling Schedule

In the event of snow, garbage may be placed at the curb. Please note that garbage will be picked up in the back yard only if the walkway is free from snow and ice.

Garden Trash will be picked up on Mondays unless it is a Holiday then it will be picked up on Tuesday. Garden trash is to be placed at the curb after 6:00pm the preceding Sunday in open containers only - no bags or cardboard boxes. Branches are to be tied in bundles no larger than 4 feet by 2 feet. If they are not tied they will not be picked up. There is no grass pickup.

May 3 and September 13

Disposable household items should be placed curbside after 6:00 pm the preceding Saturday. Doors on all appliances (i.e., washers, dryers, refrigerators, etc.) must be removed prior to being placed at the curb.

Items NOT Accepted: Automotive parts, tires, building materials, tree stumps, concrete blocks, bricks, chemicals, paints, or other hazardous waste.
