Sea Girt Public Library

On May 13th, 1992, the Sea Girt Library opened its doors to the local community. The free public library service was made possible after receiving a generous gift from Sara Zock. Today, the library continues to be funded by a trust fund, individual donations and friends of the library. Our active library is staffed by a group of local volunteers and managed by our librarian, Lynn Kroll, who has been in charge of the Sea Girt Library for over a year. The library staff has created a welcome environment where Sea Girt's residents and members can congregate to relax and choose books of varied interest.

The library collection consists of approximately 10,000 books, audios, DVDs, and periodicals available to our patrons. In addition, our affiliation with the Monmouth County Library (MCL) System and the Central Jersey Regional Library Cooperative allows patrons to have access to a vast array of library holdings including digital versions of printed books and publicly accessible eBooks offering a variety of research, reference, and reading material online.
