Water & Sewer Billing

Water and sewer bills are issues quarterly. Billing statements cover the quarter (three-month period) prior to the actual billing date. Ordinance 02-2010 & 03-2010 New Fees & Billing Date EFFECTIVE April 22,2010.

Payments

Payments are due on a quarterly basis as follows:

Quarterly Bill Date	Due Date
Feb 15th	15 Business Day from Date of Bill
May 15th	15 Business Day from Date of Bill
August 15th	15 Business Day from Date of Bill
November 15th	15 Business Day from Date of Bill

Important Note

The water and sewer bills are due due within fifteen (15) business days of date of bill.  If said charges are not paid within the time above prescribed, interest at the rate of eight percent (8%) per diem shall be added to the charge.

Any account with an unpaid bill will lead to water and sewer services being disconnected 45 business days after the original due date. Reconnection service fee of $250.00 will apply.

Water Rates (Ordinance 02-2010 Adopted 4-14-2010 Effective 4-22-2010)

All water delivered in the Borough of Sea Girt except special service connections for public and private fire hydrants and private sprinkler systems and temporary construction/demolition water supplies shall be measured by meters and sold and charged at the rate of $4.90 per thousand gallons as registered on said meter. A minimum charge applies. Multiple meters will result in multiple charges.

Water rates are based on meter size and billed quarterly at the rates shown below:

Private Fire Sprinkler Systems

All fire sprinkler systems in the Borough shall be billed on an annual basis in February of each year.

Sewer Rates (Ordinance 03-2010 Adopted 4-14-2010 Effective 4-22-2010)
